Q: What is the Blanketbooster?
A:

The Blanketbooster is a self-assembling blanket lift.  It supports bed covers above the feet to create a "tent for the toes" that relieves the uncomfortable and often-painful pressure of bed covers on the toes and feet, especially for people who spend part or all of the night sleeping on their back.

Q: How does the Blanketbooster work?
A:

Original Blanketbooster demo video: click HERE.

Blanketbooster Sole-O demo video: click HERE.

The Blanketbooster works with a traditional box spring and top mattress or between any flat surface and a top mattress.  It is made of several sections of professional-grade, high-strength, scratch-resistant, hard-anodized aerospace aluminum alloy tubing that are connected by an elastic cord running through their center.  When assembled, the sections snap perfectly into place to create a cover-lifting shape that is held in place by the pressure of the mattress without needing tools, nuts, bolts or screws.

The Original (full-width) Blanketbooster can even be folded down onto the the surface of the bed for discreet daytime storage. Both the Original and the Sole-O models can be collapsed completely to fit in carry-on luggage for travel.

Q: What is the Blanketbooster made of?
A:

Each Blanketbooster is made of professional-grade, high-strength, scratch-resistant, hard-anodized aerospace aluminum alloy tubing.  It may be a mouthful, but it means that they are super-strong and durable and very lightweight.  With a tubing diameter of less than 1/2", all of our products weigh less than 1 pound, collapse to fit in carry-on luggage, have an elegant silver and matte-black finish and are made in the U.S.A.

Q: How tall is the Blanketbooster?
A:

The Blanketbooster is 23" tall and accommodates most mattress/foot combinations.  To determine how much foot clearance you will have, subtract the height of your top mattress from 23".

If you need more (or less) clearance, we offer custom sizing at no additional cost.  Simply specify how many inches taller (or shorter) you want the Blanketbooster to be in the "Additional Comments or Instructions" box of the Payment Details section where you enter your payment card details in our online store.

Q: Who would want to use a Blanketbooster?
A:

The Blanketbooster is designed for anyone who wants a more comfortable night's sleep.  It could be someone suffering from pain or discomfort in the lower body caused by diabetes, arthritis, fibromyalgia, gout or any number of inflammation-related diseases.  It could be someone recovering from surgery or an injury to the toe, foot, ankle, knee or hip.  It could even be someone whose feet get too hot or cold at night.

Q: How wide is the Blanketbooster Sole-O?
A:

The King/CA King Sole-O is 35" wide, which is almost half the width of those mattresses.  The Twin Sole-O is also 35" wide, which is almost the full width of a twin-size bed, but its feet insert at the foot of the bed instead of the sides for ease of swinging your legs & feet in and out of bed.  The Full/Queen Sole-O is 23" wide, which is almost half the width of those mattresses.

Q: How much does the Blanketbooster cost?
A:

Prices vary from $59.97 to $69.97, depending on bed size.  You can find specific product pricing in our online store.

Q: Where can I buy a Blanketbooster?
A:

You can buy directly from our online store.

Q: Who do you use for shipping and how long will it take to get to me?
A:

We use United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority 2-3 day delivery for domestic orders.  Your order will ship from Portland, Oregon the next business day after you place your order.

We use United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class Package International Service for orders outside the USA.   Shipping time varies from 5-10 business days depending on Customs clearance and destination.

Q: Does the Blanketbooster fit any bed type?
A:

Yes! But keep in mind that the Blanketbooster reqires a box spring (or any flat surface) & top mattress arrangement to install properly.  The Blanketbooster will also work with most adjustable mattresses as long as the adjusting platform and mattress are separate pieces. This will allow the "feet" of the Blanketbooster to be inserted between the two surfaces.

The Blanketbooster is not recommended for beds with very lightweight or flimsy mattresses as the Blanketbooster is designed to install without tools or hardware and these types of mattresses may be too light to hold Blanketbooster in place.  Not sure about your bed? Give it a try and if it doesn't work as expected we would be happy to accept your return.

The Blanketbooster is also not recommended for hard-side water beds due to risk of damage to water bladder.

Q: Does the Blanketbooster fit any bed size?
A:

Yes.  The Original Blanketbooster and Blanketbooster Sole-O fit any standard-sized bed: Twin/Single, Full/Double, Queen, King and California King.

Custom sizing is available for unusually-sized mattresses; contact us for details.

Q: I don't know what size bed I will be sleeping in. Which Blanketbooster should I buy?
A:

We recommend the Full/Queen Sole-O when the bed size is not known or will vary.  It will fit all mattress widths as its feet are inserted in at the foot of the bed instead of on the sides.  It can be positioned on the left side, right side or middle of the bed depending on your preference.

If there are two travelers who share a bed (or if you would like the covers lifted across the entire width of any size bed) simply add another Sole-O to your order and you can both free your feet no matter which bed you're in :)

Q: Do I need a bed with a box spring to use a Blanketbooster?
A:

No, a box spring is not required.  The Blanketbooster will work with almost any bed style as long as there is a top mattress that sits on a flat surface.

Q: Do you make a product that only goes across half of a 2-person bed?
A:

Of course! If one of you wants the covers lifted and the other prefers to have the covers touching their feet, use the Blanketbooster Sole-O.

Q: Does the Blanketbooster come with a money-back guarantee?
A:

Yes! The Blanketbooster comes with a 1-year guarantee on materials and workmanship.

Q: I have a futon. Will the Blanketbooster work with a futon?
A:

Yes, the feet of the Blanketbooster will sit on top of the slats in the futon frame.  Most futon mattresses are shorter than traditional mattresses so if you have any concerns about the Blanketbooster being too tall contact us and let us know the height of the futon mattress.  Custom sizing is available at no additional charge.

Q: Will the Blanketbooster fit a hospital-style bed?
A:

Yes, in many cases the Blanketbooster can be installed on a hospital-style bed.  Please keep in mind the Blanketbooster is not recommended for beds with very lightweight or flimsy mattresses as the Blanketbooster is designed to install without tools or hardware and these types of mattresses may be too light to hold Blanketbooster in place.  Not sure about your bed?  Give it a try and if it doesn't work as expected we would be happy to accept your return.

We recommend that you contact us with the bed's mattress width and height or the bed brand/manufacturer & model # so we can confirm compatibility prior to ordering.

Q: I have a very tall mattress. Will the Blanketbooster fit?
A:

Yes!

Q: Is the Blanketbooster made in the USA?
A:

Yes!

Q: How much weight will the Blanketbooster support?
A:

The Blanketbooster was designed to support even the heaviest bed covers and is made of a super-strong and durable aerospace alloy.  The top bar of the Blanketbooster is supported on each side and will flex 1"-2" in the middle, depending on the weight of the bed covers and the width of the Blanketbooster.  Keep this in mind for determining the height you need when you place your order.

Q: I don't live in the United States or Canada. How can I buy a Blanketbooster?
A:

Contact us and let us know which product(s) and quantity you'd like to order.  Include shipping country, region, city and postal code and we'll provide a quote.

Q: Are my feet supposed to go on top of or underneath the Blanketbooster?
A:

The Blanketbooster is designed to create a "tent for the toes". Your feet go under the covers as usual but they will enjoy the added benefit of freedom from uncomfortable pressure of bed covers in the space it provides.  Click HERE for a demo video.

Q: My top sheet tends to slip off the Blanketbooster at night. What should I do?
A:

Most cotton or linen material won't slip, but it's possible with a satin or similar material.  The simplest and easiest solution for this problem is to attach medium (1-1/4" wide) binder clips to either end of the top bar of the Blanketbooster. They're just about the most useful items ever!  Don't have any?  Contact us and we'll send you a pair of clips to use with your Blanketbooster.

Q: Will my bed covers be too short after installing a Blanketbooster?
A:

The Blanketbooster will take up a few extra inches of sheet/blanket length.  When you make your bed, leave as little of the top sheet and/or blanket tucked in at the foot of the bed as is practical.  This will give as much bedding length as possible to accommodate the Blanketbooster.  You may also choose to leave the blanket or sheet (or both) untucked and simply drape them over the Blanketbooster instead.

Not all sheets and blankets are the same length, so if you still find your bedding is too short then check out Tall Paul's for extra-long bed linens:

Q: My bed covers are very heavy. Will the Blanketbooster hold them up?
A:

Yes!

Q: My Blanketbooster is too tall. What should I do?
A:

You can exchange your Blanketbooster for a shorter unit.  Simply contact us to initiate the exchange process.

A:

You can exchange your Blanketbooster for a taller unit.  Simply contact us to initiate the exchange process.

Q: I have an Original Blanketbooster and need help setting it up.
A:

First, watch the Original Blanketbooster demo video.

Make sure the feet of the Blanketbooster are turned as far out to the edges of the mattress as possible, as shown in figure #4 on the instructions.

If you still need help, contact us and we'll walk through the setup process with you.

Q: I have a Sole-O and need help setting it up.
A:

First, watch the Sole-O demo video.

Make sure the feet of the Blanketbooster are perpendicular to the top bar as shown in figure #3 on the instructions.

If you still need help, contact us and we'll walk through the setup process with you.

Q: I have smaller feet than most people. Will the Blanketbooster be too tall?

Q: Why won't my Original Blanketbooster stay up during the night?
A:

The most likely reason is that the feet of the Blanketbooster aren't rotated far enough out to the edges of the mattress on both sides.  If the legs are rotated too far inward they will become parallel with the top bar and the Blanketbooster will tend to fold down for storage.

Q: Why won't my Sole-O stay up during the night?
A:

The most likely reason is that the feet of the Sole-O aren't perpendicular (at a 90-degree angle) to the top bar.

Q: How do I fold the Blanketbooster for travel?
A:

Lay the Blanketbooster on your bed and look for the arrow labels on each section.  Pull apart each section at the arrow labels ONLY and fold the Blanketbooster into a rectangular shape.  Use the Velcro straps that came with it and re-attach them as shown in the instructions to keep it folded for travel.

Q: I sleep in different-sized beds.
